Happy autumn! 2025 in our business has not been without its challenges, mostly due to rates not moving down for over a year. While there have been pockets of very successful, record breaking sales, the over $10m market has seen far lower levels of trading. However, the Fed’s recent lowering of interest rates by 25 basis points, along with continued record-breaking stock prices and Bitcoin hitting $113,000, all points favorably to more confident investing in Marin residential real estate. Per the post below, former Apple exec Jony Ive just invested $73m in Belvedere Island with the acquisition of multiple homes at the end of Golden Gate Avenue. I believe that kind of bolder move in a softer market is foretelling about what is to come over the course of the next two years with AI companies going public and pushing demand in the high end. Smart investors make moves before markets rebound and accelerate, so I am encouraging our clients to invest NOW in Marin in all pricing levels.
